"Dr. Chan performed a Total Ankle Replacement on me in January 2015. I had severe osteoarthritis that had developed over the years as a result of a car accident when I was a child. I am 61 years old and have a lot of life left in me, so I decided it was time to fix the ankle that was keeping me from doing so many things! I knew that the recovery would be lengthy but nothing could prepare me for the pure joy I experienced 5 months after surgery when I got out of bed one morning and was 100% pain free. Not a day goes by that I am not grateful to Dr. Chan for his amazing skills and for giving me a new lease on life. "I had a titanium pin in my left leg and hip that broke. Removal and replacement of the pin became necessary and Dr. Chan and his team were recommended. The surgery was performed on June 27, 2013. It is now August 7, and I am walking with the assistance of a cane, without pain. Dr. Chan has answered every question asked. He explains my progress, and has addressed every concern I had due to the previous hardware failure. I am now confident that I will one day soon not need assistance to walk normally and return to enjoy a more normal and productive life. "
